Sunriver has been a FireWise® community since 2012. FireWise provides guidelines to educate property owners on how to maintain defensible space and "harden" their home to better withstand a wildfire or the flying embers of a nearby fire. FireWise guidelines can be tailored to the particular requirements and needs of your community.
