Similar to tsunami warning sirens used along the Oregon coast, the Sunriver community is equipped with outdoor sirens that can “sound the alarm” if there is an imminent threat to the community.

Sunriver owners, visitors, area residents and workers can opt-in to receive Sunriver emergency text messaging to your cell phone via Deschutes County 911 EverBridge.
Deschutes County residents are also encouraged to register with 911 for
voice messages and email alerts

to their cell and/or landline.
